Valentine's Day 2012!
I love Valentine's Day!
Anna had a lot of fun making valentines and giving them out. Her preschool had a fun little party too.
I decorated and made a nice dinner. After we ate we opened presents.
Every year we give Anna a book, and this year she also got an outfit and a Hello Kitty cup.
Ty came home with pink flowers for Anna and red ones for me.
We both loved them.

Hiking!
It hasn't snowed much at all this year, so one Saturday morning we decided to go for a hike. We hiked 3 miles and Anna managed to walked about half of it. We were surprised we got that far with her, it was great.

For some reason Anna thought we all had to have a collection of weeds and sticks with us at all times. She also kept racing Ty so she could be at the front of the line. As usual, she talked our ears off the entire time! ha

It felt odd to be hiking in the middle of January, but it was a lot of fun, and I think Anna was especially happy to be able to run free!

Anna's Dance Recital!
We moved last year right before her dance recital in Casper, so this year we were really excited. These little kids were hilarious!!! They tried so hard and were so cute. Anna really loves her teacher Whitney and has really loved dancing with her friends.
We're pretty proud of her!
I love yellow roses. They remind me of my childhood.

Christmas 2011!
Christmas this year was spent with good friends. On Christmas Eve we went to Britni and Jared's house to make gingerbread houses and while we were there Santa came to visit. Anessa had recently been put in a cast (sad) and we were lucky to get a visit from him. Anna sang "Santa Clause is coming to town" to him and It made my heart melt. I can't believe how sweet she is. How did I get such a great kid? She's our little sunshine.
Jack and Allison moved right after Christmas. Sad. We'll miss them a lot.

We went kind of crazy this year but it was so worth it. I like spoiling her. ALL DAY she kept saying things like
"oh mom, thanks for this barbie. I just love it"
"Ty, thanks for this book. You're the bestest dad ever"
She was incredibly happy and grateful for everything and was in the best mood ever all day.
She got lots and lots of Polly pockets (her favorite toy) and houses for them, barbies, a wiggle car, puzzles, bath toys, games, a pillow pet, glitter body spray, movies...tons of crap.

???

Mrs. Clause made us all hats for our stockings. I love her yellow one.
Anna wanted glitter glue from Santa. I should probably enjoy it while it lasts because some day she'll want gifts that cost a little more then a few bucks. Ha

I told Anna about these naughty elves that have gone rogue. They decided they didn't want to work for Santa anymore, so now they sneak into peoples homes at night and have parties.

On their first visit they had a tea party in Anna's room, ate candy and left a mess, and put a pair of her underwear on her head.
I thought she would think it was funny, but when she woke up she stomped to my room and said.
"MOM! Those naughty elves came to our house when while we was sleepin!"
She kept going back and forth between being mad that they used her tea party and thinking it was pretty silly. She couldn't make up her mind.
The funny thing was that whenever we went to the mall to see Santa, or on Christmas eve when she saw him, she'd tell him all about what the elves did, and they had no idea what she was talking about. I was sure he was going to blow it for her.
The second visit they played with her barbies, put a ton of cutie oranges in her bed, and put her underwear on the Christmas tree. Ha
She had the same reaction.
She ranted to EVERYONE about what was going on.
Christmas night, after we put Anna to bed, I remembered that I forgot about the hula hoop I'd hid in the garage. Ty suggested we have the naughty elves leave it for her... so that's what we did. I put it next to her bed with a note from the elves saying thanks for letting them play with her toys and sorry about the mess. ha
Jared and Britni came over for Christmas dinner and spent the evening with us. I think they were pretty overwhelmed with Anessa's fibrous dysplasia and didn't want to travel. We were glad to spend Christmas with them.
I got Just Dance 3, which the girls absolutely love. We played that a lot.
I love cooking dinner with Ty during the Holiday. He's a great guy :)
Anyway...like always, Anna brightens our day and makes every Holiday perfect.

Christmas Program!
At Anna's preschool they put on a Christmas program. It was short, sweet, and super cute. They were divided by age and sang Christmas songs. Afterwards Santa visited and the kids all got to sit on his lap.

Anna is such a good kid. She tried so hard to do a good job and sing loud so we could hear. She doesn't try to be funny or shy, she just tries to do good and I LOVE that about her. All the kids were so cute and funny. We loved watching them!

Random things Anna is up too!
There is a pet store here that has goats, llamas, pigs, dogs, and many more animals. You can walk around out back and feed them, so we go there occasionally with friends :)
This last time we went, we noticed that the goats learned how to open the gate. haha
Anna and Sarah!
She was so excited about the snow. She kept saying " lets go snowing" which means skiing or sledding. ha
